As part of our #StoryTellingKimolos -No Plastic program, carried out with the support of the CPF (https://cycladespreservationfund.org/grants/), a bilingual educational guide was created to help students understand what plastic pollution and microplastics are, how they affect the seas and marine life, and how we can all contribute to better practises.

With a lot of thought, care, and collective work, we completed the guide to environmental education that we are sharing for the educational community.

The guide began as a way to document a workshop, and evolved into a comprehensive 20+ page tool that includes basic steps for environmental education and a detailed presentation of a workshop on plastics, with an emphasis on water.

The material was developed as part of the #StoryTelling Kimolos – No Plastic project, implemented by the @cycladesUnified organization Cyclades Preservation Fund -CPF and Ms. #AgathaRodi, with funding from the Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF). Many thanks to 4env & Ms. Σοφία Χανιώτη

 

The guide was created with the aim of supporting educators and facilitators in their work, as well as to serve as practical, applicable material both indoors and outdoors.
