Iliana Zioga studied Education (Democritus University of Thrace), History and Archaeology (University of Ioannina) with a specialization in Museology (University of the Aegean) and in Public Policy and Administration. She is currently working on her doctoral thesis in the field of museology at the Hellenic Open University. Her research interests include museum curation and management, science communication, digitization of cultural heritage, and museum education. She is the head of the museology-museography study of the Georgios Papanikolaou Museum in Kymi, Evia, and has collaborated with public and private bodies on museology-museography studies and cultural project management. Her professional experience focuses on the curation and management of permanent and temporary exhibitions, the curation of digital cultural productions, and the design and implementation of museum education programs. For many years, she has been teaching museology and visual arts in art workshops and lifelong learning centers.
She writes articles for the press and has a regular column entitled «Muse…logos» on issues of museology, management, art, and culture.
