On Saturday, May 25, 2024, we had the honor of participating in the 2nd Posidonia Festival of the Municipality of Rafina and presenting our book, “A young Kimolistas” Posidonia is an integral part of marine life and human existence!

We would like to express our special thanks to Ms. Valerie Vassilikos, Executive Secretary of the Eastern Attica Sustainable Environment Committee, inspirer and creator of the Posidonia Festival Greece. Her
love for the environment, Posidonia, and the protection of Posidonia meadow ecosystems moved us!
We express our heartfelt thanks to our friend Eugenia Athina Fois, who was the general coordinator of the event and did a wonderful job of coordinating the discussions that we attended. I have no words to describe the amazing friends of the Cyclades Preservation Fund (CPF), whom I had the honor of meeting in person and thanking for their support and assistance over the years. The constructive discussion with my dear friends, Ms. Eirini Renata Karathanou, Marine Project Manager of the Cyclades Preservation Fund
(CPF), and Mr. Evangelos Paravas, biologist and coordinator of the “Blue Forests of the Mediterranean,” filled us with optimism for future coordinated efforts to preserve the Posidonia forests.
