for the opportunity to participate in the EMPATHS (EMpowering landscapes with Participatory Approaches to Heritage interpretation Skills) a 30-month Erasmus+ project (Oct 2024 – Mar 2027), coordinated by Interpret Europe.
Our common project with “Kimolistes” & “Imagine Heritage” accepted by Iliopoulos Foundation, for funding Cultural Actions in the Aegean Islands.
An exhibition titled “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Kimolos – Tradition, Memory & Identity” was held on 19/7/25 at Espera Suites, organized by Cyclades Unified with the Municipality of Kimolos. Based on five years of research by Agatha Rodi, it presented audiovisual archives, objects, and oral histories. Curated by Iliana Zioga and Athanasias Athanasios, it successfully linked heritage with tourism and launched the Digital Museum initiative for Kimolos and Polyaigos.
