Cyclades Unified, in partnership with the Municipality of Kimolos, contributed to the EU Horizon Europe RESILIAGE project as a CORE Associated Lab, developing a bilingual preparedness tool to strengthen resilience and safeguard the island’s Medieval Castle and cultural heritage.
An exhibition titled “Intangible Cultural Heritage of Kimolos – Tradition, Memory & Identity” was held on 19/7/25 at Espera Suites, organized by Cyclades Unified with the Municipality of Kimolos. Based on five years of research by Agatha Rodi, it presented audiovisual archives, objects, and oral histories. Curated by Iliana Zioga and Athanasias Athanasios, it successfully linked heritage with tourism and launched the Digital Museum initiative for Kimolos and Polyaigos.
Funded by J.F. Costopoulos Foundation, Storytelling Waves workshops engaged Cycladic students using Agatha Rodi’s book to explore sustainability, heritage, and shared island traditions, producing a collective student-authored book initiative regionally.
