The Cyclades Unified organization, supported by the Cyclades Preservation Fund, launched an initiative on Kimolos to distribute 5,000 wheat straws as an eco-friendly alternative to plastic.
Together with the Kimolos volunteer group Kimolistes AMKE, they offered these natural straws during the screening of the children’s film Delphinomikroulis 1 at the Medieval Castle on September 4, 2025.
The goal was to encourage both children and adults to adopt more sustainable everyday habits.
