Are you passionate about climate action, sustainability, and green skills? Do you want to meet young changemakers from across Europe while living on one of Greece’s most breathtaking islands?

Applications are officially open for the Erasmus+ Youth Exchange: “WAVE of Change”!

 Where: Pollonia, Milos Island, Greece 

 When: September 23 – October 3, 2026

 Who: 25 participants from Greece, Latvia, Finland, Malta, and Croatia.

 What is “WAVE of Change” about?

The “WAVE of Change” project (Project Number: 025-3-ELO2-KA152-YOU-000372987) is a fully co-funded Erasmus+ initiative tackling the climate crisis head-on.

This project aims to equip youth with crucial green competencies like waste reduction strategies, circular economy thinking, and sustainable event management. Through non-formal education and interactive workshops, you’ll explore the ecological challenges of coastal environments and help drive real environmental action!

Hosted in the coastal village of Pollonia on the beautiful volcanic island of Milos, Greece, this exchange will bring together 25 youth leaders from five European countries: Greece, Latvia, Finland, Malta, and Croatia.

Through hands-on, non-formal workshops, interactive sessions, and cultural nights, you will:

• Master Green Competencies: Gain practical skills in waste reduction strategies, circular economy thinking, and sustainable event management.
• Lead Climate Initiatives: Learn how to design and launch your own eco-friendly projects back in your home community.
• Protect Coastal Environments: Explore the specific ecological challenges facing island regions and share cross-regional best practices.
• Build European Connection: Foster a shared sense of responsibility aligned with major EU frameworks like the European Green Deal.
